He is the first Christmas representative of our sustainable Teddies for tomorrow: the 34 cm tall, deep green Green Christmas Teddy bear. His long-pile paper plush reminds of soft pine needles. His festively decorated paws in red-yellow tartan are made of recycled polyester felt. He is filled with recycled PET polyester fibres and he has a gold-plated “Button in Ear”. With glass pupil eyes painted on reverse in gold lacquer, the champagne-coloured embroidered nose and a brass chest tag are eye catching. A stylish companion for Christmas: “Merry Christmas” all over the world.

Teddies for Tomorrow is an innovation by Steiff focusing on sustainability and the conservation of our environment and resources. They are made from non-animal materials such as hemp, linen, bamboo viscose, recycled polyester fibres, pineapple leather, violas, leather imitation in polyurethane, with stuffing made from recycled PET bottles or wood wool.
