Edvard Jensen, who designed 1987 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, chose the title ‘The Snowman’s Christmas Eve’ as the title of the plate.
The motif of the plate is a Danish village with half-timbered houses, where the children after having removed the snow from the street, have built a snowman and decorated him with a Christmas tree and a cap.
